We are now seeing the shift from paid work to existing

A few years ago, SEO was the thing to be into, now SEO jobs are going because AI scripting is now taking that work away from humans, the situation of arbitrage - being paid to fulfil another's work requirement is shrinking thanks to automation.

And that's the big shift, in the next 2 years in the UK 2027-8 will see a likely 275,000 jobs lost to what people call 'AI' a combination of automation, AI capability and economy of workplaces receding as the need for human input declines.

My last workplace is looking to lose a quarter of the employees, due to technology taking their work. Most of that was in accounts, with a computer upgrade automating most of the work leaving only the 'exceptions' and anomalies to be investigated.

The future?

Since 2016, I have studied this situation with interest and what automation and the future might pan out to be, I talked with an AI entity the other day, most of my predictions have been correct about what I saw and what I see for the future.

The future in the next two years will see the start of a complete re-set. The housing market will take a big hit, as will jobs, if you want to be ahead of the game, you will need to be a creator, an innovator, work with AI or have transferable skills that robots can't do. Like I said 10 years ago.

The future economy

The jobs market will have a massive hit, the DWP will have to move from trying to push people into non-existent jobs into a managed situation where people can get work from the new skills they can learn or sell to others.

A universal basic income will come, with an incentive to work on top of that with beneficial tax breaks up to a decent salary level, this has to happen otherwise the nation will start to collapse, although there are fiscal safeguards, they have not been tested to this level.

Make no mistake, this transition will happen fast, America took 46 years to get electric power across the nation, 7 years to get internet the same and just 5 days to get AI. Those steps show how quick this is happening. Be ahead of the game.
